Alien Swirling Saucers: Hollywood Studios Attraction Spotlight

Hop aboard a Toy Story Alien saucer for this fun spinning attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! If you’re a fan of Toy Story you’ll love this fun tribute to the play set Andy won at Pizza Planet.

About a dozen or so alien led saucers whip around a claw machine themed game in this attraction. The ride system is the same as you would find at Disney California Adventure Park’s Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Tokyo Disneyland’s The Happy Ride with Baymax. Although the attraction is fairly short (clocking in at 3 minutes), you’ll get plenty of spins around the claw in that time!

An Out-of-This-Swirl Experience

The cutest extraterrestrials in the galaxy have landed, and they’re taking you for a ride. Power up the saucers for an interstellar romp through space, while futuristic tunes set the mood.

Given the choice, I usually tend to skip the Alien Swirling Saucers to go on some of the other attractions in Toy Story Land. I’m not much for spinning attractions, although every once in a while I’ll give it a whirl. I do appreciate the fun theming on this attraction since I am a big Toy Story fan.
