Top 10 Items For Your Disney Vacation!

Packing for a Disney vacation can be exciting but also a bit stressful at times. Thankfully you can always count on Amazon to get you everything you need at the last minute! If it wasn’t for Amazon I would be completely lost on how to get everything I needed at the last minute. In fact – for our last trip we ordered groceries from Amazon Prime Now that were delivered to our hotel room while we were out in the parks.

We decided to take another trip to Walt Disney World (our second trip ever!) in May so I started to think about all the things I need to get together to start packing. Admittedly, I am a TERRIBLE packer if left to the last minute. I tend to forget something important without fail if I don’t have a list on hand.

Below I’ve compiled a list of items that are travel essentials for Disney vacations. When you get to the end be sure to leave your must-have items in the comments!

1. Mickey Ears

No Disney trip is truly complete without this classic accessory. Amazon has a great selection of Mickey Ears you can get at the last minute. A simple black set is always a classic choice but don’t be afraid to go wild with them. If you have some time before your next trip I’d also recommend taking a look on Etsy for some custom options or check out my post Mouse Ears for Your Next Disney Trip!

2. Autograph Book

Many families grab an autograph book while at the parks but there are some great alternatives online for those looking for something a bit different. I really love the Encylopedia of Disney Characters as an option. It has enough room for signatures and is a great visual reference of so many characters!

3. BitBelt for MagicBands

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World you may want to consider grabbing a BitBelt to protect your MagicBand. It’s a small silicone piece that connects on your MagicBand to keep it from falling off. And they come in a ton of fun colors!

4. Collapsible Water Bottle

Having a water bottle that packs up easily into your bag is a great way to save money and stay hydrated. As you can imagine the cost of water bottles starts to add up quickly. Having one on hand has been such a lifesaver for me many times.

5. Stylish Backpack

I’ve seen a lot of blogs post fancy backpacks for Disney vacations but let’s be real – Disney vacations should include something a little more fun! I’m always a fan on a classic JanSport bag but take this opportunity to grab one in fun Disney print!

6. Ponchos

The weather at Walt Disney World is just so unpredictable. I thought I was prepared on my first trip there until I got caught in the craziest rain storm! To be fair, I live in Los Angeles and ever time it rains it just feels insane! Either way having some emergency ponchos on hand is an excellent idea.

7. Guide Book

Amazon has a great selection of guide books on Disneyland and Disney World. If you’re looking for really great tips and tricks it’s definitlely worth the investment to read up before your trip. Plus it’s a great opportunity to learn about all the magic and history!

8. Portable Charger

Chances are you’ll be using your phone quite a bit to grab photos and keep track of your day on the app. Although you can buy the FuelRod chargers at the parks do yourself a favor and grab yourself a cheaper charger from Amazon ahead of time. You can find great quality chargers for half the price by getting on on Amazon.

9. Pin Trading Bag

For those of you that pin trade, you’ll want to make sure to keep your pins safe and protected while at the parks. Bringing a bag like this will keep your pins safe but also give you a fun way to display them when showing other pin traders!

10. Disney Tennis Shoes

Lastly – don’t forget to pack some comfortable shoes! I love these New Balance Minnie Mouse cross trainer shoes. Staying comfortable for long days in the park is essential to any Disney trip. Plus you can find so many fun Disney tennis shoes out there!

At the end of the day the most important thing is to have fun! What are your most essential items for every Disney vacation? Leave your favorites in the comments below!

See you in the parks!
